Common types of pin bowling include ten-pin, candlepin, duckpin, nine-pin, and five-pin. A strike is achieved when all the pins are knocked down on the first roll, and a spare is achieved if all the pins are knocked over on a second roll. Lanes have a wood or synthetic surface onto which protective lubricating oil is applied in different specified oil patterns that affect ball motion. In pin bowling, the goal is to knock over pins on a long playing surface known as a lane. The term bowling usually refers to pin bowling (most commonly ten-pin bowling), though in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries, bowling could also refer to target bowling, such as lawn bowls. To add with today's technology it would be helpful to have a calendar on your website listing events leagues exc so when things do come up someone can check and see without having to call and bother staff since they clearly don't like to communicate well. This article is about bowling in general. Never once have I treated any clients this way nor have I ever ignored potential business. I have worked customer service and scheduling clients for over 15 years. He asked if I wanted a call and I mentioned how I put in a request online and if they don't schedule on Sundays then I guess I don't need her to call but I'm sure she will anyway with my request online. If the guy at the desk wants to wipe his hands clean of the situation then he should have still had the manager call me. Even with me calling that one day why did I never receive any communication from the manager. I understand his hands are tied with lanes, I understand that when I called this event may have not been on the schedule (I which I don't fully believe since usually large events like this are months in the making but I digress) what I don't understand is how I can put in a request for a party threw the online request almost two months ago and never once received back any kind of email or phone call from the manager. I wouldn't be so upset if it wasn't for the desk guy being completely rude and inconsiderate to the situation. Their completely packed with people for an event. So here we are yesterday Sunday morning with our 4 and 2 year old excited to go bowling and we go in at 9:20 to get two lanes. Never mentioned that sometimes leagues will have events on Sundays that they schedule and never told me to call earlier in the week to double check. He said come in early and it wouldn't be a problem. He told me Sundays are usually pretty dead especially in the mornings. I asked if other things tend to get scheduled on Sundays and what do Sundays typically look like as far as people coming in. he said they don't schedule parties at all on Sundays that it was first come first serve that if I wanted to schedule a party with the manager it would have to be Saturday afternoon. I asked if I could schedule one anyway since I wanted to ensure I had a spot. The guy I talked to told me it was cheaper to come in and not have the hosted party on a Sunday instead they offer 1.50 games plus shoes. I was told they don't host parties on Saturday mornings, which was fine I asked about Sundays. A few weeks later on a Sunday I called asking about the parties and how I get ahold of someone since I had no response. I never received any phone calls or emails back from whoever is in charge of scheduling that. In early March I sent in a request threw their website for a birthday party for my two children. Very disappointed in the communication of this establishment.
